Open winner Jordan Spieth and world #4 Rory McIlroy are both 8-1 favorites to win the 2017 PGA Championship as of July 23.
A win by Spieth would give the 24-year-old American the career Grand Slam faster than anyone in history. McIlroy has won the PGA Championship twice already. He also has three-fourths of the career Grand Slam, missing only The Masters from his collection.
No. 1 Dustin Johnson is 10-1, followed by former No. 1 Jason Day and Rickie Fowler at 15-1.
Defending champion Jimmy Walker is a distant 100-1 to repeat.
Walker has not finished in the top 10 of a tournament since January. He finished tied for 54th at The Open Championship and was cut at the US Open.
