Kim Youngest Players Champion Ever

Eating pressure for breakfast, Korea’s Si Woo Kim charged past the competition and took the Players Championship title with a 3-under 69 on Sunday in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Kim as the only player not to hit a bogey on Sunday and as a result won by three strokes with a 10-under finish.

In the process he ruined two incredible storylines, as Louis Oosthuizen missed yet another chance at his first win on US soil and Ian Poulter  who looked like he was off the PGA Tour for the year only to be reinstated when a typo was discovered.

He is the fifth-youngest player to win twice on the PGA Tour since World War II – joining a group that includes Tiger Woods (20 years, 9 months); Jordan Spieth (21 years, 4 months); Sergio Garcia (21 years, 5 months); and Robert Gamez (21 years, 8 months).

Kim is 21 years, 10 months old. With the victory, he won $1.9 million.

“I feel like I’m still dreaming that I won this championship,” Kim said
