If Rickie Fowler misses his next tee time, don’t panic. He might have just gotten lost in his new house.
According to Florida real estate sources, Fowler is set to spend $14 million on a 14,897 square foot home in Jupiter, Florida. Now granted only 11,573 of those square feet are living areas, but it appears that Fowler is set to host a few quality get-togethers for his closest friends … or everyone he’s ever met in the last five years … or the population of Wyoming.
Fowler was named to the Ryder Cup team for the US as a captain’s choice on Monday. He missed out on playing in the TOUR Championship next week by less than one-tenth of a point.
By his own standards, Fowler had a down year in 2016. He had just one top three finish after putting together four in 2015 and another four in 2014. As a result he made “only” $2.73 million in earnings after piling up $5.73 million in 2015.
Fowler’s new digs has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms. There are two laundry rooms, an elevator, which is borderline ridiculous, an outdoor shower and kitchen, a splash pool, a six-car garage, boat storage, and a carousel showcase – which is how really rich people let you see that they have a bunch of cars that cost more than your house.
Also included are a wine cellar, sports bar, exercise room with steam shower, and 200 feet of waterfront. Oh, and the “front yard” doubles as a Par-4 hole complete with a green and two bunkers.
